Jashne e Azadi Mubarak to all Pakistanis (1947-2022)

Today, the Pakistani nation is celebrating Diamond Jubilee Independence Day of Pakistan!

Pakistan is all set to celebrate its 75th Yaum-e-Azadi (Independence Day) on August 14, 2022. This day remains significant as Pakistan not just received independence but was declared a sovereign state, following the end of the British Raj in 1947. This all became reality and turned into fruition as a result of the Pakistan Movement, which aimed for the creation of an independent Muslim state in the north-western regions of British India via partition. The movement was led by the All-India Muslim League under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. This public holiday also commemorates the deeds and legacies of Pakistan’s founders.

Celebrations for Pakistan’s Independence Day start with a gun salute in the capital city Islamabad, followed by flag-raising ceremonies at presidential and parliament buildings. Many speeches on national progress are made by political leaders and televised live to the public. Festivities such as parades, firework displays, patriotic concerts, and award ceremonies are also held throughout the country.

My Emotional Post

I wrote a very emotional post four years ago. And still, I have the same feelings for Pakistan. Even though I have more wisdom and seriousness in my thoughts about Pakistan. Pakistan is going through political, financial, and instability crises. Pakistan is facing serious challenges within and outsides of its enemies. Our prayers are with Pakistan. Pakistan will overcome all crises and will be prosper and successful very soon.

Pakistan needs very sincere and devoted people to serve Pakistan!

https://atomic-temporary-110027336.wpcomstaging.com/

There are a lot of points for the betterment of Pakistan that need to discuss, but not on this Happy occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan independence Day. But we should remember some words of our Quaid,  we all desperately need in current times, Quaid assured the nation of Pakistan, “Divided you fall. United you stand.” He told the people time and again that their success depends on their “Unity, Discipline and Faith.” He went on to say; “We, therefore, need a wider outlook, an outlook which transcends the boundaries of provinces, limited nationalism, and racialism. We must develop a sense of patriotism which should galvanize and weld us all into one united and strong nation.” In a public meeting on March 21st, 1948, our Father of Nation asserted; “Provincialism has been one of the curses; and so is sectionalism -Shia, Sunni, etc… You should think, live, and act in terms that your country is Pakistan, and you are a Pakistani.” We lost East Pakistan in 1971 when we failed to follow our founder’s message. If anything, the debacle should teach us not to repeat the same mistakes in other provinces of Pakistan. Unity cannot be established without first accepting and then respecting the differences. Pakistan needs to look nowhere else for guidelines as to what the role of every individual or institution should be to push Pakistan forward in the race of progress when Jinnah’s pearls of wisdom are there to show us the way. We had memorized his quotes and words of wisdom, yet never implemented them in our lives, which is why our condition is not improving. Quaid-e-Azam’s sagacity can still be our savior, only if we try. Ask yourself; Is this the Pakistan Jinnah dreamed of, or is that dream still an unfulfilled one?

Pakistan, with all its shortcomings and pitfalls in the past, remains resilient and thriving in several areas of life. Be it science, art, literature, entertainment, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, or sports, Pakistanis have won medals and trophies. Pakistan takes pride in electing the first female prime minister of the Muslim world and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner ever. The country has produced great scientists like Dr. Abdus Salam, fighters like M M Alam, and unbeatable squash champions like Jahangir Khan. The world’s youngest Microsoft-certified professionals and professionals in many other fields also come from Pakistan.

Each and Every Pakistani around the world is Pakistan, most of them are doing their best to make their homeland proud, and some have done miracles in their areas and made the nation proud. These Pakistanis are Pakistan’s diamonds, and this diamond jubilee should be dedicated to all such diamonds! Dr. Alia Nawaz

Prime Minister Canada Trudeau’s message on Eid al-Adha in writing

Certainly, the prime minister has acted sincerely wishing good celebrations to all Muslims of Canada, but beyond the amazing,  delightful, and fantastic message, he nurtures in the heart of Muslims a feeling of tremendous hope and assurance, that Canada is a real home to Muslims too.

Some information about this great Muslim festival, Eid al-Adha (Greater Eid).

On Saturday 09, 2022 all Canadian Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Adha throughout Canada and around. Other Muslim countries also celebrate Eid ul Adha on the announced date according to the Islamic lunar calendar. Eid al-Adha takes place on the 10th day of the 12th month. Moon sightings may cause a variation in the date for Islamic festivals, depending on the region and country.

EID AL-ADHA is the great Muslim festival and marks the sacrifice made to God. It is also known as the Feast of Sacrifice or Festival of Sacrifice as it commemorates Ibrahim (Abraham). It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismaeel (Isaac), as an act of obedience to God’s command. Before he sacrificed his son, God intervened by sending his angel Jibra’il (Gabriel), who then put a ram in his son’s place. In commemoration of this, the celebrations symbolize Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah, and this marks the end of the Hajj, the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia which thousand and thousands of Muslims all over the world embark on. Worshipers usually slaughter a sheep, a goat, or a lamb as part of the festivities – but anyone wishing to sacrifice an animal and divide into three parts: the family retains one-third of the share; another third is given to relatives, friends, and neighbors; and the remaining third is given to the poor and needy persons.

Muslims begin their celebration with morning special prayers, followed by food and exchanging gifts with family and friends. They also share their food and money with the poor so that they can celebrate too. It is time to sacrifice and generosity to friends, family, and needy people.  Eid al-Adha is also a time for forgiveness and compassion.

Muslim Associations are also working for Eid festivals, including fun rides, shows, sports tournaments, and various international cuisines.

Eid Mubarak to all Muslims, my best wishes for the celebration of Eid al-Adha. My prayers at this holy festival for peace and prosperity and safety from natural disasters everywhere in the World, Ameen.

Science

Something About Science:

Science is the practical activity performed after any evidence is found by practicing a systematic methodology that provides intellectual knowledge about the behavior and understanding after observing, Experimenting, verifying, and testing the natural and social world.

Importance of Science:

Science is helpful in all aspects of life from managing our household to all the daily activities. It provides the greatest sum of ventures. Science ensures to contribute to a healthier and longer life for society. It helps to nourish our soul and spirit after gaining a happier life. Happiness does not just mean joy but it is basically the inner joy and science fulfills all of them. Science helps to monitor individuals and provides a solution to any problem an individual is facing from health issues to technical issues. Science fulfills our basic needs: food, shelter, and clothes. One cannot imagine a life without science. Development in science has enhanced the comfort level of an individual the greatest blessing of science is development in the medical sector. That has helped to cure millions of people and provided them with a healthy and longer life.

https://alianawazblog.wordpress.com/dr-alianawaz/

Science could be named as a resource book that provides all the solutions for everyday problems. Science helps to solve universal mysteries and it is an infinite source of knowledge. It helps to enhance the living standard of the people. But with the passage of time, we have been facing many hazardous diseases. That is one of the major challenges for science. Many deadly diseases like cancer, heart diseases, stroke, Chronic Lower Respiratory diseases; Diabetes, etc. are the reasons for death in the World.

https://alianawazblog.wordpress.com/education/

These diseases could be cured at the initial stage but these chronic diseases are very difficult to be cured. Science has come up with many vaccines. No doubt they are very effective and helpful. Every year scientists are trying to make more effective vaccines and they are succeeding too.

The next coming posts will be about medicinal sciences.

Paying tribute to my father

Happy Father’s Day to all who are celebrating it today.

Paying tribute to my father!

https://atomic-temporary-110027336.wpcomstaging.com/
Dr. Alia

Fathers are amazing people. They can turn problems into opportunities and ordinary days into memories that stay with us for a lifetime.

So today on Father’s Day, I am missing my father a lot, he is no more in this world, he passed away three years ago because of liver cancer.

I am feeling very proud to present A tribute to my father, a few lines about my father, and my real feeling for him. I don’t know why I could not write anything when my father was alive. May this post express my true love for him, after his departure from the world.

I spent most valuable quality time with my father. I was the dearest child of my father. My father was a guiding light whose love shows me the way.

He was the most courageous and resourceful man. I never questioned if he loved or cared for me because he made it so obvious.

My father had been the greatest influence in my life. his words of wisdom taught me so many things, most importantly he used to tell me that I should never stop learning. Always go for higher education, special research discoveries, new education, explore more wonders, and joys, and keep growing each and every day for a lifetime.

A Father could be defined as the 3 P’s – the protector, the provider, and the problem solver. ‘Theodore”. But My father is more than that. I really appreciate my father from bottom of my heart. Always remember his encouragement, support, great love, friendship, judgment, wisdom, positive attitude, thoughts, and best wishes for me.

My best compliment to you my father is how you raised me that I am feeling very proud to be your daughter. I am blessed and I have achieved greatness, successful life, and much more ….

My father is like none other.  Thanks for everything. I have a special place in my heart for you, my dear father, I love you a lot and will continue to love you till my last breath.

History of Father’s Day:

The nation’s first Father’s Day was celebrated on June 19, 1910, in the state of Washington. However, it was not until 1972—58 years after President Woodrow Wilson made Mother’s Day official—that the day honoring fathers became a nationwide holiday in the United States. Father’s Day 2022 is on Sunday, June 19.

For me, every day is Father’s Day and every day is Mother’s Day.

Victoria’s Day

Happy Victoria’s Day!

Wishing you all, a Happy and safe Victoria Day long weekend!

Victoria Day is officially celebrated on the Monday closest to May 24. That is the day that was declared in 1901 by the Canadian government, to honor Queen Victoria following her passing. It usually falls on the third Monday in May.

Canadians are celebrating Queen Victoria’s birthday, and continue to honor Queen Victoria because of her important role in the formation of our country.  Victoria was Queen at the time that Canada became a country in 1867 and she chose Ottawa as our nation’s capital.

As it is a long weekend, I hope most of you will be able to enjoy valuable time with friends and family members. I am in Toronto, enjoying the pleasant weather, firing up the barbeque, and doing my best to calm down after a busy week to complete my important activities.

Honestly, this time is very precious for me, and I think for all those people who know the value of time.

Pakistan Resolution Day 2022

Dr. AliaPakistan Resolution Day.

#Pakistan celebrates the 23rd of March every year with Great Spirit and enthusiasm. Every year on this day, the government of Pakistan arranges a special event to give respect to this day. The Resolution Day parade by the armed forces of Pakistan is the main celebration of the event. This day is celebrated in the memory of a lot of struggles put together by our leaders and most importantly, our mentor #QUAID E AZAM in the creation of our beloved homeland Pakistan.

23rd of March 1940 was the day of hope and determination for thousands of Muslims of the subcontinent. Based on #Muslim-majority regions in British India. He successfully won the debate by speaking to the party members in Lahore, he explained that Hindus and Muslims are two separate entities, as they are entirely different in cultural and religious aspects.

The resolution for the establishment of a separate homeland for the Muslims of British India passed in the annual session of the All India Muslim League held in Lahore on 22-24 March 1940 is a landmark #document of Pakistan’s history.

The passing of the resolution marked the transformation of the Muslim minority in British India into a nation with its distinguishing socio-cultural and political features, a sense of history, and shared aspirations for the future within a territory.

It made worldly demands keeping in view the problems of the Muslims of British India, the political experience of the #Muslim community, and the prevailing debate about the ways to protect Muslim identity, rights, and interests against the backdrop of the modern state system established by the British in India.

The Resolution addressed the Muslim question in the political and constitutional context of British India and pointed out the course of action the Muslim League intended to adopt to secure the Muslim identity, rights, and interests.

It emphasized the principles that were relevant to the modern state system and the political context of British India. It made five specific demands:

  1. The Resolution rejected the federal system of government as envisaged in the Government of India Act, 1935 because it was “totally unsuited to and unworkable in the peculiar conditions of this country and is altogether unacceptable to Muslim India.”
  2. The Muslims would not accept any revised constitutional plan unless it was framed with “their consent and approval.”
  3. The adjacent territorial units should be demarcated into regions that may involve some territorial adjustments in a manner “that the areas in which the Muslims are numerically in a majority as in north-western and eastern zones of India “become “independent states in which the constituent units shall be autonomous and sovereign.”
  4. The resolution offered “adequate, effective, and mandatory safeguards for religious minorities” in the Muslim majority units for the “protection of their religious, cultural, economic, political, and administrative and other rights and interests in consultation with them.” Similar rights will be given to the Muslims in “other parts of India.”
  5. The Muslim League Working Committee was asked to formulate a constitutional scheme on the basis of the principles outlined in the Resolution.

The Resolution thus offered a new course of action for the Muslims of British India as compared to the Muslim League position adopted on constitutional and political issues in the past.

The change was that of strategy but not of the goal.

The Muslim League’s goal since its inception in December 1906 was to protect and advance Muslim socio-cultural identity, rights, and interests in British India’s socio-political and constitutional context.

All points and their struggle will be discussed in a separate chapter.

#Celebration of Pakistan Day.

The celebrations regarding the holiday include a full military and civilian parade in the capital, Islamabad. These are presided over by the President of Pakistan and are held early in the morning. After the parade, the President confers national awards and medals on the awardees at the Presidency.

Also attended in public are the #Prime Minister of Pakistan alongside the Cabinet ministers, military chiefs of staff, and chairman joint chiefs.

A full inter-services joint #military parade is rehearsed and broadcast live by the news media all over the country. Pakistan military inter-services also showed a glance of its power and capabilities during this parade.

Wreaths are also laid at the mausoleums of Muhammad Iqbal and #Muhammad Ali Jinnah founder of Pakistan. In very rare times and significance, foreign dignitaries have been invited to attend the military parade.

Civilians celebrate this holiday with full zeal and zest, also national songs and parades are held with different educational intuitions. Buildings are decorated with lights and patriotism is shown in public by national anthems and visits to the mausoleums….

This post is very important to write for the understanding of all struggles, challenges and fights our mentors and leaders have faced in making an independent Islamic republic state of Pakistan. I hope all politicians of Pakistan will change their mindset and recent activities and will think positively about the progression, development, and advancement of Pakistan. Make #Pakistan beyond beatable in all aspects of life.

“This is not only my message, but this message is on behalf of every Pakistani who gave a mandate to the Parliament, for working together to put people and families first, deliver results, and build a better future of Pakistan. We want to see a proper, educated, and healthy Pakistan.”

Here are a few key points on how Politian and leaders can deliver results for the Pakistani people.

Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022!

Dr. Alia

#International Women’s Day is a day to acknowledge and honor women around the world for the contributions we make each day to society.

Celebrating Women, whether professionally or personally, is a sense of commitment to each and every Woman in one’s life. Every year on March 8, #International Women’s Day is commemorated. In most countries, the Day has been declared a National holiday. Women from all fields of life gather together around, spanning cultural and ethnic divides, to honor their battle for peace, justice, equality, and progress.

International Women’s Day is all about valuing oneself and realizing one’s full potential. Aside from that, Women need to summon the fortitude to overcome all obstacles in all areas of life to achieve significant progress.

It is a common misconception in society that Women’s problems are unimportant.

The objectives of International Women’s Day (IWD) are:

  • To celebrate the struggle for #women’s rights in the #economic, #social, #political, and #cultural domains
  • To endorse women’s solidarity in the struggle for peace.
  • To assure women’s security and ability to equally avail the rights and perform their duties with complete zeal and zest, along with religious #freedom.
  • And to show what women have achieved and they can achieve more…..
Dr. Alia

The color purple is often associated with #IWD as it signifies ‘justice and dignity’ green and white are also the colors of IWD. Green symbolizes hope. White represents purity,

My Message on #International Women’s Day 2022!

This year, celebrations will continue to look a little different because coronavirus and virtual events are expected to take place around the world.

So make International Women’s Day your and my day, celebrate it, and do what you can to truly make a positive difference for women.

Encourage women, start from your family members (your mother, wife, sisters, daughters, and cousins), friends, classmate, teammates, your lady boss, your coworkers, and anyone who deserve it. Give greeting cards, gifts,s or some good words as a reward to cheer them, honor them for their superior work.  Show your respect, love satisfactory and pleasant feelings, admire their work, and make them happy.

To conclude, it feels nice to have a day to celebrate the achievements of women. Thus, on this international women’s day, let’s recognize the significance of women in our lives and in society and inspire them for greater future achievements. As they can contribute equally to the home, society, and nation.

#Celebration of Women’s Day worldwide. In the US, the month of March is Women’s History Month. A presidential proclamation issued every year honors the achievements of American women. International Women’s Day is a national holiday in many countries, including Russia, where flower sales double during the three or four days around 8 March. In China, many women are given a half-day off work on 8 March, as advised by the State Council. In Italy, International Women’s Day, or la Festa della Donna, is celebrated by the giving of mimosa blossoms. The origin of this tradition is unclear but it is believed to have started in Rome after World War Two.

2021 saw the inauguration of Kamala Harris as the first female, first black, and first Asian-American US vice president

The UN announced their theme for 2022 as “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”. Their events will recognize how women around the world are responding to climate change.

But there are also other themes around. The International Women’s Day website – which says it’s designed to “provide a platform to help forge positive change for women” – has chosen the theme #BreakTheBias and is asking people to imagine “a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination”.

#History of start celebrating International Women’s Day.

#Clara Zetkin founded International Women’s Day (IWD) in 1910 grew out of the labor movement to become an annual event recognized by the United Nations. The seeds were planted in 1908 when 15,000 women marched through New York demanding shorter working hours, better pay, and the right to vote.  A year later, the Socialist Party of America declared the first National Woman’s Day.

It was Clara Zetkin, a communist activist and #advocate for women’s rights, who suggested the creation of an international day. She put her idea to an International Conference of Working Women in Copenhagen in 1910 – and the 100 women there, from 17 countries, agreed to it universally.

#International Women’s Day was first celebrated in 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. The centenary was celebrated in 2011, so this year technically celebrating the 112th.

Things were made official in 1975 when the United Nations started celebrating the day. The first theme adopted (in 1996) was “Celebrating the Past, Planning for the Future”.

International Women’s Day has become a date to celebrate how far women have come in society, politics and in economics, while the political roots of the day mean strikes and protests are organized to raise awareness of continued inequality. Clara’s idea for International Women’s Day had no fixed date.

It wasn’t formalized until a wartime strike in 1917 when Russian women demanded “bread and peace”; four days into the strike the tsar was forced to abdicate and the provisional Government granted women the right to vote.

The strike began on 8 March and this became the date that International Women’s Day is celebrated.

The color purple is often associated with IWD as it signifies ‘justice and dignity’ Purple, green and white are the colors of IWD, according to the International Women’s Day website. “Purple signifies justice and dignity. Green symbolizes hope. White represents purity, albeit a controversial concept. The colors originated from the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU) in the UK in 1908,” they say.

Once again #Happy International Women’s Day 2022 to all women. Enjoy and celebrate it respectfully!

Unique date 22022022

The date on Tuesday 22 February 2022 is unique. The date will read the same from left to right, from right to left, and upside down! 22022022

This post is just for an interesting script, it has some kind of calculation according to numerology, which has some hidden information about the future. The sequence of 222. Why Seeing 222 is a Powerful Sign?  2/22/22

February is the shortest month of the year. The month kicked off with a New Moon in Aquarius accompanying in the energy of new beginnings and change, and just one day later, we got to experience what some called the first of the last three 222 days of the century, which occur on February 2, 2022, February 20, 2022, and February 22, 2022. This is the end of a 222 sequence that started back in 2000, with other key years of 2002, 2020, and 2022. We won’t see this sequence again until 2/2/2222.

Significance in numerology, the 222 sequences of numbers are often referred to as Angel Numbers. Also, the number 2 in numerology references the energy of duality, partnership, relationship, and balance. The key lessons when dealing with the number 2 are generally centered on compromise, acceptance, compassion, cooperation, and harmony.

Dr. Alia Nawaz

When 2 is in sequence like it is in 222, this energy is super-charged. There is a call to approach life with more compassion, to seek better balance, to work cooperatively with others, to seek partnership when you can, and strive for the direction of the right path.

When you think about the last almost 22 years, don’t so many of these themes ring true? This is especially profound when you think about 2020! There is no way we could have made it through the last two years without compassion and cooperation. So much of our world has changed, especially the ways in which we interact with others.

What’s more, the United States has it is very first Pluto Return on 2/20/2022 coinciding with the second 222 days of the month. Since America is a relatively young country, it has never experienced the return of Pluto or the start of a new Pluto cycle. For your reference, when Pluto—the lord of destruction, transformation, and power—makes a return (which takes approximately 247 years) that entity (in this case, the US) has an opportunity to let go of archaic systems and structures that no longer benefit the masses so that every individual associated with that entity gets to maximize the potential of their soul.

If we look to older countries for some insight, it’s very easy to deduce that major power shifts occurred during that time. Pluto Returns in France and Russia marked the deaths of Napoleon and Stalin. Spanish dictator Francisco Franco relinquished power during Spain’s last Pluto Return. Some even argue that the UK’s last Pluto Return coincides with their unofficial fall from world leader status. Historically, this time is marked with a lot of change and most believe that for the US that will be no different.

Fortunately, the good thing about change and transformation is, well, change and transformation. As painful as it might be to see failure, it is incredibly powerful to be able to see the potential. This is what makes the 222 days so profound!

222 days serve as a reminder for us to know that, no matter what happens in our world, we are in a time of cooperation, compassion, duality, and harmony—if we so choose to embody these qualities. So, hopefully, you choose to use the last days of this magical 222 energy like a portal to channel all the love and hope you can. For yourself first, and then for others.

What is Twosday 2022 and why is it so special?

For me, Twosday has no historical significance nor any cosmic message, but it’s a fun pun to mark a rare occasion of the dates colliding together to form a palindrome: 22/2/22.

Everything in this post is taken as it is from net browsers, There is so much on the internet about these numbers, I am not a numerologist, so, please ignore everything which is not understandable and acceptable. Thanks.

Dr. Alia Nawaz

Alia Nawaz

This has only happened twice before with 1/11/11 and 11/11/11, and the next one will occur in 11 years, as threesday – 3/3/33.

Some people have recognized this date as a day of great spiritual meaning, as a sign from the universe that they’re on the right path with people interested in numerology intrigued with what the date could mean for their spiritual well-being. In astrology, the number two signifies the union of two people or two ideas and is a day about collaboration and community.

#Family Day is a statutory holiday in 5 provinces of Canada including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and New Brunswick on the third Monday of February each year, where it is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed. Some other countries also celebrate the family day, including Australia, South Africa, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and the U.S. states Nevada and Arizona, etc.

CANADA’S FAMILY DAY reminds us of what’s really important, whatever the origins and evolution of Family Day, the meaning of the holiday is right there in its name.  It is kind of cool to have been around on the making of a brand-new provincial holiday. There are no established traditions surrounding Family Day as there are for #Christmas and #New Year’s Day. But, as the name implies, #CANADA’S FAMILY DAY many Canadians take advantage of the three-day weekend in February to spend extra time with their families.

On Family Day, many people plan and take part in activities aimed at the whole family. These include visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, skating on outdoor ice rinks, playing board games, and taking part in games, educational craft activities. Road trips, winter sports outings, and extended family gatherings are all popular ways to observe the holiday. Some communities plan special public events, art galleries, Science centers. Museums and other visiting places. may have reduced prices or free entry.  As the weather is usually very cold in February, hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies are popular snacks. Celebrants find ways to overcome the cold and have a warm and cozy Family Day!

Why is family important? What kind of impact does it have on a person in their childhood and as an adult?  Does it matter to society, country, and the world as a whole?

Importance of Family:

Everyone is born into a family, your parent, sisters, brothers, siblings, aunt, uncle, cousin and grandparent are family members, but not everyone gets a healthy family. Those who aren’t privileged to have a good birth family, often create a chosen family later on. There are some reasons why family is so important: Life has changed so much for most of us in the modern world. With the #advancement of technology, changing cultural norms, new priorities, and new forms of communication fueled by the Internet, it’s natural to curious about what the importance of the family is. Is it a dying institution that has no place in modern life? Well, of course not. Family is just as relevant as it ever was, if not more. No matter how much life changes in the future, it will probably continue to be needed in one form or another. Families are hubs of tradition. Many families carry on traditions through the years by sharing stories from the past. This creates #connections with family members that aren’t around anymore.

Benefits of Family:

Uncountable #benefits of being a family member, some of them are listed here:

Relationship. Families set the stage for future #relationships. The very first relationship a child has is with their parents and siblings. Whether healthy or not, these relationships provide a model for what future relationships will look like. It’s often not a conscious decision, but for better or worse, people often choose friends and partners based on how similar they are to their family. Family dynamics repeat themselves and reinforce beliefs about relationships and self.

Affection and encouragement.  #Families can be an essential source of care and help in good or bad times, families can provide the affection and #encouragement a person needs to be content. If a person has a strong family, they’ll always be able to find the love and support they need. With their family behind them, a person will find the #motivation and #courage for #success. On the other side, if a person isn’t getting love and support from a family structure, they’ll feel lonely, depressed, and even hopeless. Families spend so much time and energy supporting each other through difficult times because of the bonds they’ve created and nurtured since the time each of them became a part of the family.

Financial security.  A well-functioning family provides #financial security for everyone living in the household. First, family members who can work contribute at least a part of their earnings to help the family meet everyone’s needs and wants. Second, the family combines resources to pay bills and manage their money to ensure that financial necessities are always taken care of.

Support System, many people have found themselves with great news but no one to tell it to. That’s a problem one rarely has when living in a family. People who are in healthy families have access to everyday joys that some people don’t have. In addition, everyone has hard times. A healthy family has each other’s back. When family members are under stress, someone close to them is most likely to see the symptoms that they’re struggling with. People may hide their problems with others, but their family most often already understands. Even if they don’t condone someone’s actions, they love unconditionally. They’re there for family and family has a built-in #support system.

Education, the most important way parents contribute to society is by educating their children. The learning doesn’t go just one way, either. In a healthy family, learning has a high priority, perhaps just after meeting basic needs. Talking around the dinner table, family members often share their political views. They may discuss the issues in an upcoming election or the qualifications of a candidate. This inspires everyone to find out more about the people and ideas involved so they can make an informed decision when it’s their turn to vote.

Quality time:  Quality time with family is linked to better academic performance Parents begin teaching their children as soon as they’re born. They may help them learn to walk and teach them new words as they develop their vocabulary. They potty-train them, teach them manners, and take advantage of learning opportunities in everyday life. Best of all, they pass on a love of learning that will serve the child well throughout their life. Most parents are equipped in different ways when it comes to helping their children learn after they go to school. They can encourage scholarship and ethical behavior, as well. When becoming a parent, solving all children’s disagreements can be a massive chore. One of the ways parents cope is to teach their children how to resolve their conflicts on their own. Parents teach their children right from wrong and encourage them to follow the laws of the land unless disobeying a specific law will benefit society. #Families often work together to get household chores done. Every task they do together teaches them more about what it’s like to work as a team to #accomplish group goals.

Healthy Lifestyle. Children enjoy a healthy lifestyle when they live in a #healthy family. They have healthy meals, are encouraged to get up and move, enjoy time outdoors, and get prompt medical attention when needed. Health benefits exist for parents, too. #Research has shown that people who live with children in their families tend to live longer, even after the children have grown up and moved away. This may be because parents tend to eat healthier food, quit smoking, reduce their drinking, quit using drugs, and may even stay more active compared to their childless peers.

Medical problems. Facing medical problems alone can be a nightmare…Family potentially helps solve all these problems and can make sure that food, water, rest, and medical care are provided. Society may not have to do anything to take care of a person’s basic needs because a family already has that covered.

Challenges in the family.  All Families May Struggle Sometimes, even though families have many benefits, they can sometimes be challenging. You may need a little support to get through your days, which is entirely understandable. For instance, if you are not happy with your significant other, it may lead to depression and divorce. It is better to be honest about your views on your family before settling down with someone. This limits these things from happening. You should also consider having a trusted friend that you can talk to about your problems, or simply taking some me-time occasionally, for when you need a little break from your home life. This is something that will lower your stress and allow you to access your values and focus on what’s important.

Reduce Mental Health problems. Family relationships are linked to a person’s mental health, there have been many studies on the importance of #family time. While families can still be healthy even if they don’t eat dinner together every night, there is a correlation between this time together and a young person’s wellbeing. In Pediatrics, one study discovered that kids who ate with their families regularly were less likely to show depression symptoms. On the other side of the spectrum, research shows that negative family relationships can trigger or worsen mental health issues.

Family plays an important role in the community, society, and the country.

Those people who grow up in the family feel like they belong to something bigger than themselves. Their Families teach values, people learn a value system within their family structure. They learn what their family defines as right or wrong, as well as what’s important to the community. These values become deep-rooted and form a foundational part of a person’s identity. Values affect how a person treats others, how they view themselves, and they can easily select their purpose in life.

They feel proud to become a member of a #community and #Society for hardships and endeavors time. They have a clear picture in their mind that how they can provide their services for the #country and how they can make a better image of their country on the world stage.

#HISTORY OF FAMILY DAY

First held in Alberta in 1990, Family Day was proposed by the province’s former premier, Don Getty, after his son was arrested for dealing drugs. Although Getty denied any connection, it is believed that this episode motivated him to establish an occasion to counteract what he saw as the erosion of family values in Canadian society.

It was introduced in Saskatchewan in 2007 and in Ontario in 2008. British Columbia observed Family Day as a statutory holiday for the first time in 2013, New Brunswick in 2018.

Followed by Saskatchewan in 2007 and Ontario in 2008. On May 28, 2012, the BC government announced that Family Day would be observed on the second Monday in February each year, starting February 11, 2013. The week of its observance was changed from the second Monday of February to the third Monday starting in 2019. In April 2017, the NB government announced the family statutory holiday to begin in February 2018. In February 2018, the BC government announced that Family Day would move In Yukon, the already-existing Yukon Heritage Day was considered close enough on the calendar to the new Family Day holiday.

Holidays to celebrate families are also held in other places around the globe. In the Australian Capital Territory, the first Tuesday of November is known as Family and Community Day. In South Africa, the day after Easter Sunday is Family Day.  Canada’s Family Day coincides with America’s Presidents Day. Also known as Washington’s Birthday, is a federal holiday in the U.S., so can easily celebrate the family day and enjoy yourself with family members.

Happy Valentine’s Day 2022

#Happy Valentine’s Day for those who are celebrating this day. Celebrate it with safe, peaceful and respectful manners.

Happy Valentine’s Day

#Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14 every year. This day is dedicated to celebrate love, friendship, and admiration. It is the most awaited day of the year for any couple who believe in Valentine’s Day. It is a #Christian festival where people dress completely in red, including clothes and shoes, and they exchange red flowers. At this day love is in the air, Red color resonating the feeling of love, affection, warmth.

This day filled with the most love and affection with people for celebrating the popular festival of love, Valentine’s Day. The occasion not only allows people to shower their loved ones with love but also gives a perfect opportunity to confess one’s true feelings.

Although the occasion has far more #historical significance than most people know, it is heartily celebrated in the modern world famously with chocolates, flowers, gifts and romantic dinners.

Let us look at the historical background of Valentine’s Day before diving deeper into the issue and its reality.

Valentine’s Day (Islamic guidelines):

Is it permissible to Muslim for celebrating Valentine’s Day?”  A debate arises over the permissibility of celebrating Valentine’s for Muslims.

As Muslims, we are supposed to love one another and to wish and inculcate love among people regardless of their color, race, religion, or identity. However, this does not mean dissolving our identity or blindly pretend and imitating other religions’ traditions and practices. Most people believe that it is prohibited to celebrate this Day because of these three reasons.

  • Firstly, they believe that according to Islamic law, there is no logic or reason to celebrate this Day.
  • Secondly, they say that it is a celebration of love and passion but in a wrong manner such as, without getting married or not supposed to getting married, but acting as if the marriage is already done.
  • Lastly, it fills the heart with matters which are prohibited according to proper Islamic guidance.

Love in religion of Islam:

Islam is the religion of love, righteousness, mercy, and maintaining relations. Islam encourages all kinds of love. One of the most essential duties for Muslims is to become the ambassador of Islam by showing its beauty with their manners, actions, and words.

Also convey and portray that Islam is not a religion of revulsion and conservativeness but its beliefs are the most respectable that empowers the women as well as it also beautify the relationships in accordance with shariyah and Islamic Laws.

 Love between Spouses:

When we speak of love, the first thing which appears to mind is love between a man and woman. Islam promotes it within the holiness of marriage rather than prohibiting this kind of love. The foundation of marriage is love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, and respect is found in the Qur’an and is stated as;

Perhaps nowhere is this more summarized than in love between Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his wife,   Khadijah. He loved her deeply despite the age difference, and she loved him despite his poverty. She loved him because he was filled with Nobel manners, trustworthiness, perfect character, humanity, and loyalty and was also graceful. He loved her beauty of nature, nobility, understanding, and believing in him. Their love was so great that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) continued to love Khadijah until the day he died.

It was reported that once Aisha asked him, was Khadija the only woman worthy of this love? After that, he replied that she was the only one who believed in me while no one else did. She accepted Islam while people display me, and she was the only one who helped and comforted me when none could help me.

Love for Others, Whether Muslims or Non-Muslims

Muslims are encouraged to treat everyone with kindness and purity, including non-Muslims. God does not prohibit us from keeping good ties with non-Muslims. You can treat them kindly and exchange gifts with them. Our religion is the most patient and peaceful one as it gives the message to be kind and gentle not only with the humans but animals as well….

Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. –Mother Teresa

Historical Background of Valentine’s Day:

Let us look at the historical background of Valentine’s Day before diving deeper into the issue and its reality.

The general story is that it was originally unconvinced celebration, but legends vary on the Day’s origins. However, the most famous story revolves around the Roman prince called Valentine, who was martyred during Emperor Claudius 2.
For reasons over which there is a difference of opinion, all the marriages and engagements were banned by Rome’s emperor. Valentine defied the emperor and married couples in secret for the defense of the divine union. Valentine was arrested after his actions were discovered and were put to death on the 14th of February. Legends say that a farewell note was left by valentine for the jailer’s daughter. She was his friend before the execution. The letter said, “From your Valentine“. Eventually, the 14th of February became a day to celebrate love exchange love poems, messages, and gifts.
There is another story regarding the background of Valentine’s Day.  The Origin of “Valentine Day” or “Festival of Love” was one of the festivals of the pagan Romans when paganism was the prevalent religion of the Romans more than seventeen centuries ago.
In the pagan Roman concept, it was an expression of “spiritual love”.
There were myths associated with this pagan festival of the Romans, which persisted with their Christian heirs.
Among the most famous of these myths was the Roman belief that Romulus, the founder of Rome, was suckled one day by a she-wolf, which gave him strength and wisdom.
The Romans used to celebrate this event in mid-February each year with a big festival.
One of the rituals of this festival was the sacrifice of a dog and a goat.
Two strong and muscular youths would duab the blood of the dog and goat onto their bodies, then they would wash the blood away with milk.
After that, there would be a great parade, with these two youths at its head, which would go about the streets. The two youths would have pieces of leather with which they would hit everyone who crossed their path. The Roman women would welcome these blows, because they believed that they could prevent or cure infertility.
The Connection between Saint Valentine and This Festival Saint Valentine is a name which is given to two of the ancient “martyrs” of the Christian Church. It was said that there were two of them, or that there was only one, who died in Rome as the result of the persecution of the Gothic leader Claudius, c. 296 CE. In 350 CE, a church was built in Rome on the site of the place where he died, to perpetuate his memory.
When the Romans embraced Christianity, they continued to celebrate the Feast of Love mentioned above, but they changed it from the pagan concept of “spiritual love” to another concept known as the “martyrs of love”, represented by Saint Valentine who had advocated love and peace, for which cause he was martyred, according to their claims. It was also called the Feast of Lovers, and Saint Valentine was considered to be the patron saint of lovers.

Kashmir Solidarity Day

“Freedom Fight for Kashmiri’s hopeless people”

#Kashmir Solidarity Day is a national holiday in Pakistan celebrated on February 5th annually.  Kashmir Solidarity Day, also known as ‘Youm-e-Yakjehti-e-Kashmir’ has been observed in Pakistan since 1990 as a day of protest disagreeing with Indian control of a part of Kashmir. It is to convey the country’s identification with the civilians of Indian-administered Kashmir who want self-determination. It is also a day of remembrance to commemorate those Kashmiris who have died.

“Kashmir Solidarity Day” is the day to highlight the issue of Kashmir, it was first suggested by Qazi Hussain Ahmad of the Jamaat-e-Islami party in 1990. The idea was supported by Nawaz Sharif, Punjab’s Chief Minister at the time, and the Prime Minister at the time, Benazir Bhutto. The Pakistan People’s Party then declared February 5th as a public holiday. On Kashmir Day, all government, semi-government, and private offices across Pakistan remain closed. The State Bank of Pakistan also remains closed. The day is marked by political rallies, marches, and speeches about Kashmir. A human chain is formed on the major route from Pakistan to Kashmir. A one-minute silence is observed at 10 am local time in honor of the martyred. Radio Pakistan broadcast a special marathon transmission focusing on different aspects of the Kashmir dispute.

#Kashmir is famous for its scenic beauty, Kashmir is in the northernmost part of the Indian subcontinent, bordered by the Himalayas. At the time of the partition of India, the region was a significant state under the British Dominion. The state was divided into three, now controlled by India (Jammu and Kashmir), Pakistan (Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan), and China The split of Kashmir between India and Pakistan has led to enmity and bloodshed with three wars between India and Pakistan over the region – in 1947, 1965 and 1999. Pakistan considers the issue of control of Kashmir as the core issue between India and Pakistan, Pakistan feels they need to devote a significant portion of their national income to military budgets.

The entire world is in a state of mourning in the wake of the indiscriminate destructiveness of the Covid-19 pandemic. But in places like Kashmir, the devastation of the virus is coupled with the ongoing torment of the crackdown in the region.

Before the #word ‘lockdown’ became a part of our everyday vocabulary, it was already a reality in Jammu and Kashmir. Since late 2019, its people have witnessed communication blackouts, detentions of activists and politicians, the prevention of foreign journalists entering the region, and the use of pellet-firing shotguns which contravene human rights standards, among other violations. On the 30th of January 2021, the Economic Times reported that 1,933 Covid-related deaths have been recorded in Jammu and Kashmir. It is hard to determine the population of the region, but it is likely to be somewhere between 13 and 16 million based on projections after the 2011 census. Relative to more developed areas of the world, the number of deaths proportionate to the population is not too high. But it is not only the number of deaths because of Covid-19 which solely determines the extent to which the region has been affected. Though the economies of many countries have been hit hard by the prevention of tourism, among other restrictions, as a measure to disrupt the transmission of Covid-19, the Kashmir Valley had an unfortunate head start. As soon as its special status was revoked, tourists were told to leave after suggestions of an increase in terrorist activity. International organizations have grown quiet on the Kashmir conflict since September 2020, after concerns were raised on the 5th of August, a year on from the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian government. Such organizations have been crucial in raising awareness of the human rights abuses carried out against the Kashmiris, but their recent silence emphasizes the importance of Kashmir Solidarity Day.

While the conflict in #Jammu and Kashmir remains unresolved, its people will suffer needlessly and lives that need not be lost will continue to be lost. As outsiders looking in, we cannot determine the exact state of things in Jammu and Kashmir. The communications blackout still restricts the freedom of the press, with independent platforms like The Kashmir Walla continuing to report despite their lack of resources and the constant state of threat to their very existence by security forces. So, on this year’s Kashmir Solidarity Day, the voices of the censored Kashmiris will be heard through others. Various events will be held which will see politicians and activists discuss the injustices facing the region and what more can be done internationally to bring a peaceful resolution to a crisis that has lasted over 70 years.

As #Kashmir is renowned for its scenic beauty, the God-gifted natural beauty of Kashmir is very attractive to the tourist, now because of the above-mentioned crises the loss of the tourism industry contributed to high economic losses. According to estimations by the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries, around half a million jobs were lost and the region suffered a loss of around $5.3 billion between August 2019 and June 2020. Another significant cause for concern is the state of peoples’ mental health. A report published in the Elsevier Public Health Emergency Collection suggested that the lockdown and the pandemic have caused a sharp increase in mental health conditions which cannot be treated sufficiently due to the limited mental health services available in the Kashmir Valley.

Kashmir is famous for its scenic beauty:

#God gifted the Natural Beauty of Kashmir:

#My all best wishes and prayers with #Kashmiri’s people for their freedom and peaceful life. #Dr. Alia Nawaz

The vaccines created to address the #novel coronavirus may join the smallpox, polio, and measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines as major progresses in saving lives. May in this new year, we all have a hundred reasons to laugh, a dream to live for, a thousand joys to enjoy, no reason to suffer. Success and Goodluck will be with us in each phase of life.

# Happy New Year 2022 from Dr. Alia Nawaz

New Year’s Day is the most active-minded holiday. Usually, people evaluate their lives and values, remember last year’s achievements and failures, and look forward to the promise of a New Year make new plans more seriously, change their mindset for better lives. they make resolutions for the new year according to their needs.

Most people find joy in the planning and celebrating of various festivals and celebrations that bring families and friends together over the winter season. Different activities for the new year in different places across the World.

#Reality of a New Year.

Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning, time is still going on, Time has no divisions to mark its passage,
there is never a thunderstorm or blare of trumpets to announce the beginning of a new month or year. With all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. But for entertainment they organized parties, get together with families and friends, the most popular enjoyment with fireworks, singing and dance. There are other lots of different types of activities on celebrations of #New Year Eve and #New year.

#New year celebration in pandemic time:

New Year’s has a deeper significance at this #pandemic time.

We need prayers from bottom of our heart

Nowadays, the whole world has been changed, because of Covid 19. As people around the world celebrated New Year’s Eve and New year celebrations in a restricted environment.

Two years ago, a new global threat emerged…Since then, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken so many lives and caused massive disruption to families, societies, and economies all over the world.

But it also triggered the fastest and most wide-reaching response to a global health emergency in human history.

The hallmarks of this response have been an unparalleled mobilization of science, a search for solutions, and a commitment to global solidarity.

Acts of generosity, large and small, equipped hospitals with the tools that health workers needed to stay safe and care for their patients.

Outpourings of kindness have helped society’s most vulnerable through troubled times.

Vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics have been developed and rolled out, at record speed, thanks to collaborations including the Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator.

Vaccines offer great hope to turn the tide of the pandemic.

But to protect the world, we must ensure that all people at risk everywhere – not just in countries who can afford vaccines – are immunized. This is the challenge we must rise to in the New Year. The events of 2020-2021 have provided telling lessons, and reminders, for us all to take into 2022.

#Steps to be taken for safety measures:

There is light at the end of the tunnel, and we will get there by taking the path together.

Millions around the world have been seeing out 2021 and marking the start of 2022, although the coronavirus pandemic has forced many celebrations to take place in muted form behind closed doors.

With lockdowns or other restrictions in place in many countries,

Others have attended ceremonies or festivals wearing masks or taking other precautions.

As #omicron spreads ever more gloom around the globe ahead of New Year’s Eve, governments are moving at different speeds to contain the scourge, with some reimposing restrictions immediately.

All these things are in preparation in hopes to have next year’s celebration, return a little bit closer to normal.

These are the best ways to protect yourself and slow #the spread of COVID-19 this season also feel better at the same time:

Get vaccinated, including a booster shot if you’re eligible, Wear a mask, Stay home if you’re sick, Get tested before and after traveling or gathering for the holidays, Gather outside or increase airflow in indoor spaces, Going for a walk, doing something you enjoy or mindfulness techniques like yoga, meditation or breathing exercises can help. It is important to remember that not everybody has someone to celebrate with. and that some people may be experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Enjoy the festivities as much as you can:

While it’s natural to want to be with your loved ones in person, ensuring they are as protected as possible from coronavirus may be the greatest gift you can give this year. Ensure safety by doing covid tests before traveling to meet family and friends for the holidays, and check that the people you are visiting have done their tests too.

Speak to your family and friends now to decide on alternative ways that you can mark a holiday. We all hope that by the time the occasion arrives that there will be some way of coming together, but the fact is that we don’t know. Making a loose plan is a good idea – but be prepared for it to change as well.

Perhaps you’ll decide to gather via an online video link to eat a meal together or play party games. Or perhaps you’ll choose to support a charitable organization together, raise money or get involved in helping others in your community, subject to the rules in your area. This can create a sense of belonging and purpose, reducing feelings of isolation.

Being kind and focusing on the good you can do, can be a real boost to your mental wellbeing. Kindness matters, particularly now when people may be feeling the effect of certain restrictions more acutely.

Taking the time to do a good turn for someone else can also reduce your stress, improve your mood, and increase happiness.

If you are feeling down, talking to people can lighten your load. Likewise, if you notice that someone you care about is showing signs of distress, ask them how they are feeling and what they need.

Try to balance your sense of obligation against your need for self-care.

“When we get into the new year, of course, we will see then if we do need to take any further measures, but nothing more until then, at least.”

#History of celebrating New Year:

The Gregorian calendar (so-called because it was developed by Pope Gregory) was decided on the 1st of January as the New Year to celebrate the circumcision of Jesus. Its origin – like so many modern-day holidays – lies in the pagan Roman festivals associated with Janus – the two-headed deity who symbolized change.

However, celebrating the New Year does no such thing.

Firstly, the number of scholars who condone the celebration of the New Year is in the minority.

Secondly, the scholars who do condone it almost never actually celebrate the New Year themselves or with their families – at least not in public – showing that even though they may believe it acceptable, it is not preferable.

Thirdly, many of them predicate their views based on several caveats – that it is no longer a pagan or Christian ritual, that it is good dawah to non-Muslims, and that it does not involve any un-Islamic element. Most of these caveats are difficult to satisfy adequately.

This is meant to be a gentle reminder and not a harsh rebuke. It would be against the spirit of Islam to not show kindness and respect to non-Muslims. We are encouraged to be warm and welcoming, not least because it will attract others to our faith. By the same token, it is against the spirit of Islam to do any of the above by subordinating our own faith, culture, or heritage.

There are many ways to showcase our manners and act as ambassadors for our faith without having to adopt the celebrations of others. By adopting the celebrations of others, we may be harmlessly saying a few words or just enjoying ourselves. Equally, we may be opening the door to disappearing within the dominant culture and to a future which of blurred boundaries for our community and children.

#What is Muslim’s perception regarding New Year?

As Muslims, we have our own calendar that has been in constant use for the last 1400 years. Even though we may end up using the Gregorian calendar due to circumstances beyond our control, we know for a fact that Allah has ordained the use of the lunar calendar for us in our worship. According to our Hijri calendar (initiated by the great Shaba Umar), the new year begins on the first of Muharram…

Enjoy your Holidays, and New Year 2022 Celebration. Alia

May you reach out to great glories and achieve all that your desire in Year 2022, #Happy New Year!”

Benazir Bhutto, Tribute to a Brave Woman

Benazir Bhutto was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She belongs to a prominent political family. Her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is the ninth Prime Minister of Pakistan and the fourth President of Pakistan.

date of birth June 21, 1953 ==== Date of Death December 27, 2007

Her Education:

After completing her early education in Pakistan, at the age of 16, Benazir Bhutto left her homeland for pursuing her higher education, she attended Radcliffe College and then enrolled at Harvard University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in comparative government. Then she studied at England’s Oxford University, completing her degree in International Law and Diplomacy.

Her Struggle:

After that, she returned to Pakistan, where her father, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, had been elected Prime Minister, but days after her arrival, the military seized power and her father was imprisoned. In 1979 he was hanged by the military government of General Zia Ul Haq.

Benazir Bhutto herself was also arrested many times over the following years and was detained for three years before being permitted to leave the country in 1984. She moved to London along with her brothers, she worked as a joint leader of PPP in exile. She founded an underground organization to resist the military dictatorship. When her brother Shahnawaz died in 1985, she traveled to Pakistan for his burial and was again arrested for participating in anti-government rallies. She launched a nationwide campaign for open elections.

Her Political Achievements:

She was elected co-chairwoman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), along with her mother. After that She got married to Asif Ali Zardari, in Karachi on December 18, 1987. After her long struggle, free elections were finally held in 1988. She herself became Prime Minister. At age of 35, she was one of the youngest chief executives in the world, and the first-ever female prime minister of a Muslim nation on December 1, 1988.

Benazir Bhutto was elected prime minister barely three months after giving birth to her first child. She was defeated in the 1990 election and found herself in court defending herself against several charges of misconduct while in office. Benazir Bhutto continued to be a prominent focus of opposition discontent and won a further election in 1993. She initiated an anti-corruption campaign.

Her Political Struggle and Achievements:

Benazir Bhutto, the 11th Prime Minister of Pakistan, is presented with the Academy of Achievement’s Golden Plate Award by Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Dr. David Herbert Donald at the 2000 Achievement Summit in London.

While in self-imposed exile in Britain and Dubai, she was convicted in 1999 of corruption and sentenced to three years in prison. She continued to direct her party from abroad, being re-affirmed as PPP leader in 2002.

Benazir Bhutto returned to Pakistan on October 18, 2007, after President Musharraf granted her amnesty on all corruption charges, opening the way for her return as well as a possible power-sharing agreement.

Tragically, Benazir Bhutto’s homecoming rally after eight years in exile was hit by a suicide attack, which killed 136 people. She only survived after ducking down at the moment of impact behind her armored vehicle.

Her Assassination:

Benazir Bhutto was killed when an assassin fired shots and then blew himself up after an election campaign rally in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007. The attack also killed 28 others and wounded at least another 100. The attacker struck just minutes after Bhutto addressed a rally of thousands of supporters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, eight miles south of Islamabad. She died after hitting her head on part of her vehicle’s sunroof—not because of bullets or shrapnel, a spokesman for Pakistan’s Interior Ministry said.

Hundreds of thousands of mourners paid last respects to former Pakistani Prime Minister Bhutto on December 28, 2007, as she was buried at her family’s mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, the southern province of Sindh. She was buried alongside her father Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Pakistan’s first popularly elected prime minister who was executed by hanging. Benazir Bhutto’s husband, Asif Ali Zardari, her three children, and her sister, Sanam, attended the burial.

Just Before death time

Who’s to blame?

“The United States strongly condemns this cowardly act by murderous extremists who are trying to undermine Pakistan’s democracy,” President George W. Bush said from his ranch near Crawford, “Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice.”

Her Legacy:

Benazir Bhutto left a deeply polarizing legacy. Her career has been celebrated as a triumph for women in the Muslim world and for the global fight against Islamic extremism. At the same time, she has been accused of corruption and bad governance. Her efforts and struggle to champion democracy remain a legacy that is deeply respected among her rivals. Several universities and public buildings in Pakistan bear Benazir Bhutto’s name, while her career influenced several young activists.

Now, Benazir Bhutto is seen as a symbol of women’s empowerment, and today, parties from across Pakistan’s political spectrum, allow women to be a part of their organizations and fully participate in elections. Her efforts to promote democracy remain a legacy forever.

May God Bless her soul in rest and peace. Inshallah! Alia Nawaz

Christmas Celebration:

Christmas Celebration:

The true meaning of Christmas is giving and sharing the love and reaching out to those who have touched our lives. It is a time to count our blessings and be grateful for them.

I wish all the Christian community an incredible and all the best wishes on this season that fills you with faith, renewed hope, good health, long life, prosperity with peace and joy, that will last a lifetime. Have a blessed time on this religious occasion. Enjoy and Celebrate in a small gathering with precautions and a safe environment

About Chirstmas Celebration:

Christmas is celebrated on 25th December every year and is the most religious occasion in Christians as well as non-believers…

It is not just a holiday that is celebrated universally, but also people gather and exchange gifts and enjoy the festivities of this occasion.

For two Millennia, people are religiously attempting its traditions as per their faith in God. Christians celebrate this occasion as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth…who came with the teachings of their religion (Christianity according to the modern BIBLE)

Their popular customs are:

  • Exchanging gifts
  • Decorations of Christmas trees
  • Attending church
  • Arranging great get togethers
  • Surprise gifts by Santa clause (most awaited)

It has been a federal holiday in many countries all over the world especially in the U.S since 1870. It is observed that the Christmas tree and the Santa clause are the two main centers of attention while celebrating Christmas festivities. According to the research Christmas, both are not found in the study of the Bible…Also not supported by the scripture, the however bible condemns the practice of both …   The arrival of Jesus is also debatable as per different schools of thought ….

  • There are many differences between the books which signify the actual time and date of the birth of Jesus (P. B. UH).in the early years of Christianity EASTER was the main holiday. The birth of Jesus was not celebrated in the Fourth century. Church officials decided to institute the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ as holiday after that….
  • Unluckily Christmas isn’t mentioned anywhere in the Bible (a fact Puritans later pointed out to deny the legitimacy of the celebration)
  • Some evidence points out towards the spring or summers (why would Shepherds be herding in the middle of winters?)
  • Also, in chapter 19 verses 22-33 of the Holy Quran.

“So, she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, ‘I wish I had died before this and had been long forgotten. [Mary was worried that people would think badly of her as she was not married.] Then (baby Jesus) called her from below her, saying, ‘Don’t be sad. Your Lord has provided a stream under you.’ Shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards you, and it will drop on you fresh ripe dates. So, eat and drink and be happy. And if you see any human, then say, ‘Indeed, I have vowed a fast to the Most Merciful, so I will not speak to any human today.’ Then she carried him and brought him to her people. They said, ‘O Mary, indeed you have done a great evil.’ ‘O sister of Aaron, your father was not an evil man, and your mother was not a fornicator.’ So, she pointed to him. They said, ‘How can we speak to a child in the cradle?’ (Jesus) said, ‘Indeed, I am a slave of God. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet And He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on me prayer and charity as long as I remain alive. And (has made) me kind to my mother and did not make me arrogant or miserable. And peace be upon me the day I was born, and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised alive.’”

  • The reference of ripe dates mentioned above suggest the time of the year around late July or early August when the temperature is at its peak.
  • It can be fairly deducted, that Christ Jesus (P.B.U.H) wasn’t born on 25th December but somewhere in the July or August.
  • The head of Church of England Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr, Rowan Williams, is reported as saying that “the Christmas story of the Three Wise Men was nothing but a “LEGEND” and dispels other stories on Christmas, adding that there were no asses or oxen in the stables and concludes 25th December is certainly not the date. (The Telegraph – London 21.12.2007)
  • Another convincing scientific story, reported in The Telegraph, London of 11.12.08, is that world-famous Astronomers, by charting the appearance of the “Christmas Star ‘  which The Bible says led to Three Wise Men to Jesus, have found a bright star which appeared over Bethlehem 2000 years ago pinpointed the date of Christ’s birth as June, 17th rather than 25th December. Australian Astronomer Dave Reneke too confirms the findings and ads, using the St. Mathews Gospel as a reference point, that planetary conjunctions which appeared in the constellation of Leo, to confirm the date as 17th June in year 2 BC.

Islamic View on Christmas:

Islam places Christ Jesus (PBUH) on the highest pedestal as a prophet of God among the twenty-five prophets named in the Quran. Islam accepts Jesus (PBUH) as the prophet who was born miraculously without human intervention. Islam makes it an article of faith to believe in all the prophets sent down by God and therefore not believing in Christ Jesus (PBUH) as a messenger of God amounts to apostasy in Islam. Therefore, Muslims have as much right as Christians to remember Jesus Christ but not as much to celebrate his birthday more so when it is not celebrated on the correct day.

Against this background, one might expect the Muslims to take part in Christmas celebrations as revering Christ Jesus as do the Christians. However, as I have clearly mentioned earlier, in Islam (and in Christianity) birthdays are not recognized and such celebrations are neither mentioned in the Qur’an nor are they condoned by the Prophet of Islam – Muhammad (PBUH). But the reality is that Christmas is here to stay, and big businesses will ensure that it is celebrated universally and will ensure that it will remain so till eternity.

Conclusion:

In the end, research concludes that Christmas is not sanctioned by Scripture. Nor is it admired by our Savior, Jesus Christ.

While holidays will always be entertained in our lives on Earth, I would like you to think upon this of items pertaining to Christmas. Although I don’t expect to change anyone’s mind or beliefs about the realities of Christmas…

The celebration of our Jesus’ birth can (and should) occur every day in our lives and should not be limited to just once (or a few times) a year.

If you decide to continue celebrating Christmas, I believe it is possible to do so if you are truly honoring God through it all; only if you possess a working knowledge of Christmas’ origins and celebrate it with the right frame of mind. Understand, however, that the celebration of Christmas is not a requirement spelled out by the Bible.

I hope that you enjoyed reading this article as much as I enjoyed writing it!

All the best wishes for all,

Happy and safe Holidays to you all, Enjoy!

World Cancer Day

World cancer day is celebrated on 4 February every year. This day is wished to increase Global awareness of cancer. It was introduced in the year 2000 and the very first summit against cancer was held in Paris where government agencies and cancer organizations from all over the world approved and signed the charter of Paris against cancer.

Cancer awareness is a very important factor as there are plentiful advancements in researches on cancer. Many cancer diseases are diagnosed each year but 40% of deaths are prevented. A person basically feels tired, Pain, change in skin texture, weight loss, cough, bleeding, etc.  There are many tests to screen and diagnose cancer. Every cancer is of a different kind and is treated in a different way according to its variety and stage. Most of the cancers are cured by means of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation therapies

Cancer is a leading cause of death but during this time most of the researchers are indulged in searching for the cure to the covid-19, which has been declared as a global pandemic and every nation is trying to come over this.

Personally, I would like to thank all my friends for their continued support throughout in the year 2020. I appreciate their help and efforts in the tough and challenging year of 2020.

COVID – 19 Vaccines

Now various Coronavirus vaccines are approved.

Canadians received an early Christmas gift on December 23, 2020 as Health Canada declared a new COVID-19 vaccine from U.S. biotech firm Moderna safe for use. PM Justin Trudeau welcomed the move during a news conference in which he also announced that Canada will receive more doses next month of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine than previously expected. More information about COVID-19 Vaccines are using in Canada

After a long struggle and waiting for CoronaVirus Vaccine, a 90-year-old Margaret Keenan is the first recipient in Britain to receive the Pfizer Vaccine. In Canada, it has been started from December 14, 2020. We hope that it comes to an end as soon as possible with the grace of god and makes our society friendly and happy as of earlier. The Covid-19 is bringing fears and uncertainties in the minds of people, as we are receiving news of a new strain / variant of virus from Britain, all flights for Britain have been cancelled just to prevent people from getting the virus. Till today, total cases of Coronavirus globally are 79,067,331 and total deaths of people are 1,737,074. In the USA total cases are 18,547,045 and total deaths are 327,537. Thousands of people are dying everyday because of COVID – 19.

Second wave of COVID-19 is more deadly and dangerous than the first one. We are still in the danger zone and healthcare professionals are trying to save lives. but let us focus on empowering ourselves and believe in the mercy of god. The White House task force warns states that vaccines will not reduce spread until late spring… COVID patients with symptoms that last month are now called, “long haulers”  Many of these people had mild symptoms and were never in the hospital. They are taking care of all precautions. I would not go expecting miracles… no matter what the headlines say. We must remember – There is only ONE person you can truly trust with your health and safety… that is You – Yourself. Here is how I am taking care of myself.   Boosting my immune system, taking care of all necessary precautions including, hand washing, face covering by wearing a mask, and keeping 6 feet distance form each other. Not to socialize unnecessarily and isolate yourself when you feel ill, this is important, and it works.

The Virus to be Cursed: Coronavirus (Arrival of CoronaVirus):

With the beginning of December month in 2019, a news spread all over the world regarding an “unnamed” virus caused due to a person who had a “Bat” soup in the markets of China. Many Individuals claimed that this kind of disease was already listed in some of the books from the past. The virus targets the lungs and makes breathing difficult for a person. Within a month, the cases stood by 44. The media started associating the death of a 61-year-old Covid-19 patient with the seafood market, the primary cause of Coronavirus. Thailand and Japan were next recorded victims of Coronavirus. The Coronavirus did not even show mercy on the United states and the first case in Washington was accorded on Jan 21. In February, The WHO (World Health Organization) named that virus COVID-19. The Global Health Emergency was declared at the end of January when the total number of cases stood nearby 10,000 all over the world. March 11 was the day when Coronavirus spread over all the borders and most of the countries announced the Lockdown. The States came with a plan to stop the spread in three phases. But did that really work? Although, with a plan having astonishing strategy the U.S. recorded 209,199 deaths.

Talking about the measures WHO took for stopping the spread, the number of steps to stop the transmission was introduced. Also, to make people aware WHO observed and listed some symptoms and introduced the weekly report program which gives people updates about every week’s situation around the globe. Currently, WHO is collaborating with numerous researchers and businesses to invent the vaccine at war-footing. WHO is ensuring the people that whenever the appropriate vaccine will be invented, it will be equally distributed to countries regardless of any race, religion and power. More information can be founded at the following link:

https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019.

Reference: Pictures retrieved from free resources.

The Trump government took the quick action in stopping the spread and relief. 2 million testing centers were opened, Lockdown was announced, Huge amount of funds provided and unnecessary visits to doctors were ceased. Moving towards the measures taken by Canada, the Country was completely shut down allowing only necessary visits, small businesses were closed, introduced CERB benefit, huge number of testing centers were allocated, wearing masks was mandatory, invested in factories to meet the demand of sanitizers and masks, borders were closed, each individual entering the country required testing, 14-day quarantine plan came into existence, provided funds to support WHO, 275 millions of dollars were invested in research for medicine, an app was introduced to detect the exposure of Coronavirus around a person.

Let’s Move towards some of the rumours stating this Pandemic as “Plandemic”. Observing the situation, it can be said so. In all the parts of Countries, for common people the lockdown was announced, the religious places were shut down and small business ceased. Was that lockdown just limited to that only? What about the rallies, protests that happened during pandemic? Wasn’t that spreading the Coronavirus? The politicians were seen mocking around about masks and doing rallies. How they are in good condition though? Did they already had any antibiotic which stop covid-19 coming around them? Or is that just their conspiracy to reduce the population and to increase the price for the sake of the economy? People started losing the trust in Government bodies and WHO eventually as there came the anniversary of Coronavirus and still it’s snatching the lives of people at fast pace. Also, some individuals took advantage of the situation and started instigating people against the government with spreading false information. To this, WHO requested people around the world to not to trust that information and kept ensuring that sooner we will have the solution to this pandemic. In fact, In America, the worst happened when President started calling it “ChinaVirus” which caused the rise in racism. It was reported that Trump got virus but within a week of the news he was seen debating for elections which propelled people to stop trusting in the Government.

For now, all we can do is support WHO and follow the guidelines like frequently washing hands, maintaining 6 ft distance, wearing masks, avoid going to crowded places and avoid touching eyes, nose and face too often. This pandemic has separated us from our loved ones and for those who has lost their loved ones they have our sympathy.
